Land:
Red land, clay-calcareous with a substratum of stratified stone that allows the roots to penetrate and gives the right humidity and freshness to the plant during the drought

Cultivationi system:
Espalier with dry pruning (alberello method), with a per hectare density of 5600 plants
Per hectare production:
4-5 t. of grapes with a 60-65% yield of wine. The production of grapes is reduced of 50-60% in the period before the ripening.
Vinification:
Destemming of grapes with decrease of temperature at 10° C, maceration and alcoholic fermentation for 10-15 days, racking and soft pressing
Ageing:
After a short rest, it is separated from the crude sediment and the malo-lactic fermentation starts. After this, the wine is transferred in medium and light toasting French durmast barrels, where it ages for 24 months. Once the best of the organoleptic characteristics is reached, it is stabilised and bottled. Ageing in bottle for 6 months

Ruby red with garnet shades
Fragrance/taste:
Rich wine with robust and deep structure, full and harmonic. Strong, complex, full, intense and persistent scents of varietal. An independent wine.
Alcohol Content:
17% Vol.
Wine pairing:
Roasted red meat, bushmeat, seasoned cheeses, wine for great evenings. Sipping wine. Serve at cellar temperature.
